                   PERSONAL CHECK WRITING PROGRAMS

     These programs maintain check transaction register files and write the check information to blank checks inserted into a parallel or USB  connected printer which accepts the PCL commands for landscape print mode with a 24 lpi print line spacing or to a .prn file for printing with the included program X2PCHECK.  An account register file can be searched for a specified character string to see if a check has been written or cashed.   A register file can be edited with a text editor such as note pad to correct any errors.   The programs can calculate bank balances and the average check amount for a payee name for budget planning.
